I would like to respond to the review dated January 31st by Mariam Fam. We were there last night when this all went down. There were two women and approximately five children. The children were noisy and unruly and undisciplined but the toddler took the cake. Neither woman was engaged in actual parenting of any of them as they sat at the opposite end of the table from the toddler and it seemed like they were having the other children amuse the toddler who proceeded to kick and scream and cry. The server very politely asked them to leave after the third warning. It then took them another 5 minutes of cajoling the child at the front door to try and put on coat and boots while holding a cell phone up in front of the child to try to entertain it. Again neither of these women was participating in actual parenting. As far as I am concerned this server is a hero and we are undyingly loyal to this restaurant and only our second visit here. By the way the food is excellent. I told the server to watch out for a negative review from this family and they did not disappoint. Had to repost my review because I accidentally hit three stars instead of five for the food. I tried to edit it but it wouldn't move the food up to the proper five star rating that it deserves.
Some of the best tasting sushi I have ever had. You can tell every ingredient is fresh and the size of the pieces was great. They gave us complimentary miso soup while we waited. The server was very kind and quick.
Went here on a friday evening with my friends. For a table of 6 we got the 80 pc boat and some apps. The sushi was amazing woth large portions and great rice. The sashima was fresh and melted in my mouth. The best part was, the server was really cute. This is definately my comfort restaurant.
I’ve been ordering from Sho Sushi for the past year and a half, and they’ve never once disappointed me. The food is always fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. Whether it’s a quick lunch or a larger order for dinner, everything is consistently top quality. On top of that, their customer service is absolutely perfect — friendly, professional, and always on point. Sho Sushi has truly set the standard for what great sushi and service should be.
I live a few minutes from here and me and my friend come here 2-3 times a month. Never been disappointed with the service or food..they are always extremely nice, the rolls are massive and the food is such high quality compared to all these other places in town...if you’re thinking of trying sushi make sure to come to this place because you’ll never go anywhere else after you try the Dynamite roll :)
Absolutely too quality hidden gem! Sushi Sunday every week for us! My husband loves the Chiriashi and hand rolls. I mix it up but everything is excellent
Amazing place for sushi and they use really fresh ingredients! Our server Jay was super friendly and very accommodating. We had a rambunctious child with us and Jay was so patient and kind, we were so grateful for his superb service!! Portion sizes were awesome and the taste of the rolls were very well balanced and creative! Definitely our go to place for sushi in Newmarket and we’re so glad we came across this local family owned gem!!
We came to this Japanese restaurant for lunch on a weekday and it wasn’t too busy. The dining room is clean and has comfortable seating area. Lunch menu has the standard items at reasonable price and quality and portion are above average. Highly recommended!
